PhillipCapital Menkul Değerler A.Ş. aims to maintain business continuity with minimal interruption during emergencies, continue meeting customer needs even under the most adverse conditions, and conduct its operations and services while giving the highest priority to employee safety, public and employee health, and the protection of the environment and property. Orders are transmitted to the exchange through the Head Office and the exchange colocation centers. These structures operate as backups for one another.
This system is located at our institution's headquarters and is open for daily use. It serves as a backup structure that can be actively used in the event of a problem with the electronic order transmission system. In addition to the remote access system, orders can also be transmitted by phone through a small number of exchange representatives. These systems have been planned as a backup to the electronic order transmission system for use in emergency situations.
In the event of an extraordinary problem with our existing computer systems, computers allocated within Takasbank and MKK are used.
For transactions carried out electronically on the futures exchange, a passive backup structure has been established that will continue to operate from a different location in the event of a problem with the existing computer systems.
In the event of a problem with the BIST internet system, the Exchange Transaction Ledger, which cannot be obtained electronically, is obtained as a document from the exchange by the exchange transactions unit at the end of the day.
In the event of a problem with the internet system, uninterrupted service can be provided through the Head Office Central Customer Support Unit (for equity and VIOP transactions via 0212 239 10 00, and for Overseas Market transactions via 0212 239 10 00 (PHC) lines).
In the event that a branch is unable to provide service due to local reasons, transactions can be carried out through the Head Office.
The primary copies of our institution's main computer systems are located at the Head Office Center, and system backups are located at the Colocation Center. In the event of problems occurring in the central systems, operations can continue through the colocation systems.
All records that we are required to keep under applicable legislation are maintained electronically at the Head Office and the colocation center.
We have service level agreements with our critical-process suppliers, and these agreements contain SLA clauses with action plans regarding 'the management of risks within the scope of outsourced services'.
The information, documents and records mentioned above are retained by our institution for the periods specified in CMB Communiqué No. III-45.1 and other applicable legislation.
